Transpose sheet music without re-typesetting the page

Most tools scan your score, throw the page away and engrave it again. That is useful when you need MusicXML. It is the wrong tool when you want the copy already in the folder — in a lower or higher key, with the same lyrics, spacing and pencil marks.

What works today

Single- and multi-staff scores, photos and PDFs, a rewritten key signature and respelled accidentals. Chord symbols move with the staff but are not yet relabelled. Clear scans give the cleanest results.

Questions

Can I transpose a photo of a printed page?

Yes. A straight, sharp photo is enough in most cases. Very dark or skewed shots are harder.

Do I need MusicXML or MuseScore?

No. Solfa works from the page image or PDF you already have.

What does a credit cost?

One credit transposes one page. New accounts get 2 free credits. Credits do not expire.
